Week 16 Trying to stick to it

Well today I followed my diet pretty well until dinner time.  I have been feeling sorta tired and a bit stressed lately.  I couldn't wake up this morning for some reason.  Coffee didn't even help.  I was just in a brain fog all day.

Today I ate:
B- Egg Mcmuffin
L- Salad with turkey and cheese using romaine and iceberg lettuce mixed with a small packet of ranch (BFC safe)
D- Rotisserie chicken with a side of macaroni and cheese (probably should have chose a veggie instead)  I was just tired and drained so I didn't cook, just ate what was easiest.

Its going to take a little while to get into a routine now that things have sorta changed.  Not a routine with eating, just with the daily tasks.  Like my schedule is a little different and waking up earlier and having several things to do when I get home sorta makes me exhausted and then I choose not the best options.  I seem to have lost weight last week, but not enough to make me happy.  I am going to try to be more strict in the future here with this eating.  I don't need to let anything get in the way.  I know you all are always saying the same thing too.  Its just I feel tired and a bit sad lately.  I am trying to get out of my funk and pep up a bit.

Wish me luck!!

  1. You're probably just tuned into the stress levels that are happening with your friend. Also some days, and weeks dish out low energy times. Try to ride those days out, and give yourself a break. Not every day needs to be filled with things to do! Find your momentum and ride your wave girl! Yeah, eat more vegetables, this is where your carbs and energy must come from. You need a few snacks in between like a 1/2 cup of yogurt (Greek Gods-green label) or a protein shake, or walnuts, string cheese, hummus, deviled egg dip, or ? Looks like not enough food today. Also remember to drink plenty water, (some thing I'm not so good about doing).

  2. Dont feel bad I know we all go through moments like that. We just have to learn to plan a little better the night before so we are not tempted to eat bad foods when we are to tired to fix something healthy. Just hang in there!

  3. I agree with Kasey and Diana, maybe have a yummy snack on the way home like nuts and cheese to help you not feel starving when you get home...and drink lots of water, I read that when we don't get enough our metabolism goes down. Hang in there I know you can do it :)
