Tried the Dukan Diet but back to BFC

Okay everyone, its been a while since I blogged but I didn't have much to write about because I wasn't following my diet to well so I didn't want to share my downfalls and cheats with everyone to make them feel down.  But anyways I tried again to go back on a diet and did the Dukan Diet for a day or two and I just have to say even though it claims that you will lose weight fast in the attack phase....its quite hard to keep on because it took away all of my energy.  I thought I could just do the attack phase for 10 days like it stated to jump start my weight lose and lose the 10lbs. but after a day or two I was so weak, tired, and had a major headache from just eating fat free diary and high amounts of protein.  So my mind has been made up, that BFC is by far the best diet overall because its healthy and its learning a healthy way of eating for life not all these different phases.  I am going to stop trying all these diets and just put my foot down and know that this is beneficial for my over all health.

  2. Glad to see you are back. What ever diet you follow just realize we are not always going to have a big loss. I dont know if you have read my blog from last week, but I had a 5lb gain. I dont even know how this was possible. But I am still plugging along. We can do this!

  3. Thanks girls, I know we can do this. We just can't give into our upsets because that is what got me stalled for a while not seeing a weekly weigh loss, but I know now that every week may not be noticeable on the scale but in the long run we will all see the difference. :)

  4. I just read a blog that stated Lisa lost 16lb. in 4 month and now she's lost 40lb in a year(?). That's a great loss, and we just have to be patient and try, try, try, to do this, because eventually it does work. I've read that a high protein diet can contribute to Kidney failure, but people do it because they lose a lot of weight. I think the BFC is reasonable, and more balanced over all. It doesn't pay to drop weight too fast. We believe you're going to do it, and you're going to have beautiful children!

  5. Awww thank you Kasey, that is very sweet of you. I have been pretty much sticking to BFC and Atkins. I did try the Dukan Diet but it was giving me the work headaches and the worst drained feeling my body has ever felt. :(
