What I ate:
Breakfast: Xtreme Wrap (Low Carb) with shredded cheese and 3 pieces of turkey bacon & water
Lunch: Stouffers Turkey Tetrazzini (okay on carbs-tad bit over the meal sugar limit)
Snack: Pack of peanut butter crackers
Dinner: Chicken quesadilla with Horchata (a drink I know had to much sugar)---I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered this.
Dinner was at a restaurant close to Home Depot because me and my husband had to go do an estimate for an outdoor kitchen we are building for a customer. Well I am not building, but my husband is....I just do the paper work part and help with the estimates. We spend over an hour in Home Depot looking for all the supplies to price out the quote for this customer. It was sorta fun, cause I felt like we are designing the outdoor kitchen, but unfortunately its not for ourselves. I still do enjoy helping design the thing though. I would love to be an interior or outdoor landscape designer, but don't have the time or money to go to school for it. I have a business degree and that is about it for now. I don't hardly use it since I work for my families business and then work for my own business. I guess I do use a little bit of the accounting skills, but that is about it. Anyways I gotta get to work here, I have spent to much time facebooking and blogging now, LOL!! Wish everyone well today with there food choices!!
Hey there! I hope you don't mind a little critique on your food. The main thing that jumps out at me is the lack of veggies. Do you like omelets? One thing you can order at restaurants, besides salads, to help get extra veggies in, in a yummy way, is a vegetable omelet.
ReplyDeleteHI Lindsay, Yeah I agree Veggies! I used to love horchata, way too much sugar now. When I'm out I only order water or iced tea.
ReplyDeletehave a great day :-)
Yea the only veggie I got was the little bit of celery in my stouffers meal. But no, I don't mind, I welcome critique to my meals. :) Good right ahead. ;) Yea I think I need to make like a breakfast type quiche or casserole to take to work and just keep in the fridge and warm a piece each morning. I just gotta find a recipe that doesn't used to much cream or milk.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea! Have your pre-made breakfast aleady at work. If you don't mind me asking, why not much cream or milk? Do you have a problem with dairy? You could always replace the milk in the recipe with the coconut milk that I mentioned. I promise, your quiche/casserole will not taste like coconut! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Minichick - the carton of Coconut milk has green ink on it, and make sure it says unsweetened. It may be all unsweetened, I'm not really sure but my friend loves it. I am still hooked on Almond Breeze Unsweetened. If you are lactose intolerant try this in your omelet or quiche. I was reading your post and thought veges were a good idea too! They will keep everything moving through you, and so do probiotics! Keep trying new things everyday.
ReplyDeleteYea I have got the unsweetened coconut milk and the almond milk before, but sometimes I thought with baking it didn't work as well as milk (like maybe its didn't fluff up as much). And yes I have a problem with diary hahaha!! I like my regular big glass of milk every night (bad I know). Trying to break the habit. It helps me sleep or something I guess. I don't know, its just something my dad always has and as I grew up developed the same habit too. To much sugars, I know so this is one of my hardest things to give up. But I am trying. :)
